Happy New Year! It's a bright, though not sunny day with hoar frost and white snow on the ground...quite beautiful. And did I mention cold? In the teens overnight and just to freezing today, I'll bet.
I'm writing this on my laptop reclined on the couch for the 3rd day with a tweaked back. I'm lucky that I can do my job anywhere, as long as I have a computer (preferably my laptop from work), but because I'm not very adept at using the touchpad, I'm not quite as efficient. I am much faster using a mouse--can't do that lying on your back!
When you're in pain, it's hard to think of anything else. So, right now I'm not thinking too far into the future, as is often the custom on New Year's Day. But, I am optimistic about 2008 and am looking forward to seeing what it brings me.
